Im using for now my own server to see how my server works. I can transfer later on if needed be.

But got some question.

After adding a wildcard domain im getting a 404 not found after visiting a site created. Also, on your video course, I followed the instruction but my dashboard are still the same as wordpress except if Im in the network admin…

Please advice

I’m having the same problem with the installation on your server, maybe I’m just going blond but it looks like the rewrite engine is not setup for me… I thought this was active by defualt when cpanel was installed but it does not seem so and I cannot seem to move forward on this.

I have even tested by adding a line in the .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On

RewriteRule ^helloWorld/?$ /index.php [NC,L] <<<<<<!!!!!

RewriteBase /

RewriteRule ^index.php$ – [L]

Which should push the browser back to the index page if I enter https://mysite/helloworld if i’m not mistaken,

I however get an error "page not found".

I have removed the wordpress installation and installed a fresh wordpress site but still get the same error.

I have setup the subdomains wildcard as shown below:

Any idea what’s going on

Try to go to your wordpress ettings network.. And in the setup copy and paste the htaccess also your wilcard should be targeted to the public_html not other folder names.

Amazing! 🙂

OK Thanks, I now have it working, correcting the wildcard sorted out the problems…

Kind regards
